About Us

Men of Vision Youth Mentoring was founded in 2015, by McKinley Graddick, Jr. Catching his vision, several other men have volunteered their time and talents to mentor young men in the community. Men of Vision Mentoring was designed to help uplift young men spiritually, mentally, physically, and to be excellent in whatever endeavor they pursue.

Pastor McKinley Graddick, Jr.

Founder, Chairman of Board, Mentor, & Board Member: Pastor McKinley Graddick, Jr., has been united in matrimony to his lovely wife for 20 years, and is the father of four wonderful children. He serves as senior pastor at Greater Ship of Zion M.B.C. He is honored and humbled to be in a servant position as pastor for over 10 years.

He’s been an advocate for youth in general, but in particular young men. A favorite quote of his is from Martin Luther King, Jr. who said “a nation that continues to raise weak minded men purchases its own spiritual death on the installment plan.”

He has coach boys basketball on the middle and high school levels as well as the AAU circuit. Coaching afforded the opportunity to mentor and inspire youth to obtain a goal through hard work and perseverance.

He’s also volunteered for reading programs at the following schools – MacKenzie Elementary-Middle School, Sampson-Webber Leadership Academy, and Barton Elementary.

Lastly, he was instrumental in starting summer lunch programs that provided nutritious meals during the summer for children.
